Reflection
Editorial Design 2025
The individual project Reflection is an experimental zine that explores how fandom culture in popular media shapes individual emotions and self-identity. By utilizing "mirror" as a central metaphor, this project reveals a complex process of self-projection and identity construction that relies on the "other".

The Parasocial Mirror
By translating personal experiences into visual narratives, I explore psychological resonance in the digital age. Within this visual language, the mirror is more than a mere reflection, it serves as a medium for self-projection.
I seek to blur the boundaries between reality and fantasy, illustrating how individuals map their own souls through the objects and people they admire.
The Zine Who Talks
Intimacy and Distance
To convey the feeling of being "within sight but out of reach," I finalized a visual framework grounded in soft gradients, fluid forms and typographic system.
The design utilizes a stark contrast between soft glows, blurred edges, and sharp typography. This visual tension serves as a metaphor for the paradoxical nature of fandom, an experience of a permanent sense of distance.
