SUN Meal Programs

Branding 2025

As the Lead Visual Designer, I rebranded Washington’s free summer meal program to flip the script on what public service looks like. Designed for local families and youth, the campaign expresses a warm, editorial system that leads with empathy and bilingual accessibility. At the end-to-end execution, I designed the scales from digital social tiles to urban takeovers.

Public service

but make it premium.

By rebranding the visual identity for the SUN campaign, I transformed logistical information into a high-vibration community asset. I aimed to dissolve the charity inside the original design and replace it with a brand with warmth, empathy, and accessibility.

This campaign includes a toolkit of custom motifs, featuring abstract suns, organic growth forms inspired by local foods in Washington State. The typography is refined to feel official yet approachable.

By giving both English & Spanish language, the design ensures every community member feels seen and respected. The visual system is built for clarity and efficiency. It elevates the overall public meal experience across both public and social communications.
